I haven’t done a Friday Favorites post in a very long time, so I thought what better then to show my favorite blogs some love. Between my job, blogging, and online shopping, I’m online a lot. I’m constantly connected, and I want to make more of an effort to disconnect every once in awhile. However, when I am online, I’m trying to change up my web surfing habits a bit. When I’m not working, I’m trying to stay away from flash sales and discount codes, and focus on information I can use to better my every day life, not just my every day wardrobe. Below are my favorite blogs for a wide variety of reasons.
I don’t know how I stumbled on this blog, but I am addicted. Nathan & Sonia Rodgers and Russ & Sandy Shelly have created the ultimate TJ’s resource. If you are a huge fan of TJ’s like I am, but are afraid to try something new I highly recommend you take a look at their blog. They are on a mission to review every single Trader Joe’s product, and they are well on their way. Frozen foods? Check! Snacks? Check! Seasonal items?! Check, check and check! I have found products we share similar sentiments for, so I trust their judgement, and they not only give you a description of each product, but a rating on scale of 1 to 10.
Erica is a woman after my own heart. Her blog documents her coffee adventures all around the world. Her Instagram is my go-to for discovering new or must-see shops whenever a caffeine craving hits. From featuring specific coffeeshop corners and their baristas, to the process from farm to cup, her blog is very informative and a fun read, especially if you are addicted to everything coffee.
Nicolette Mason’s fashion blog is my go-to #OOTD inspiration. Her posts help me shut off the voice in my head that tells me I can’t wear a certain trend or if I start to feel insecure in a certain outfit. She rocks all of the current trends and sets her own. Not only is her blog a great resource, but I was lucky enough to see her speak at Create & Cultivate’s LA event, and she is an inspiration. From her life before her blog, to her success, to her becoming a part of the Marie Claire family, she embodies the go-getter attitude and is a true inspiration.
I don’t know if delish counts as a blog, but I don’t care, I’m obsessed. Between the recipes and videos, you will get hooked. The videos make the recipes seem so easy and doable, and they are quickly filling up my Pinterest board and FB page.
Bri Emery’s lifestyle blog is everything. All of her posts are lifestyle and home decor inspo to the max! Her blog features everything from recipes to fashion inspiration to her wine collaboration with Winc. She is #goals.
