Grand Opening: 7 Leaves Cafe’s Newest Location in Huntington Beach

The very popular 7 Leaves Cafe is opening their newest location on Saturday January 30th in Huntington Beach! With locations in Cypress, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, and Tustin, this has been an anticipated addition. Their coffee and tea options will make your head spin – in the best way possible! My favorite treats are the House Special Coffee. It is authentic Vietnamese-style coffee that combines the traditional nutty and smooth flavor and their secret brewing technique and extra sweet toppings. Their macarons are the perfect sweet treat to accompany your favorite coffee or tea beverage! Baked in-house, they have flavors ranging from Strawberry to Vanilla Chai to Green Tea to Salted Caramel.

Din Tai Fung’n It

Since Din Tai Fung opened a location a couple of years ago in Costa Mesa, I have only visited a few times, and every time I find myself asking why I’m not there more often. I’m lucky to live close by, and despite this location being located in South Coast Plaza, it’s never overwhelmingly crowded. If you get there when they open for lunch, you will walk right in! This place is great for a post-shopping refuel, business lunch, or day date. With an extensive menu, they have something for everyone, but my favorites include: any of their XiaoLongBaos (soup dumplings), Wontons with Spicy Sauce, and any of their Greens with garlic. Their reputation speaks for itself and it’s an experience to watch their dumpling creation process through the glass window, but there really is something for even the pickiest of eaters, they just have to be convinced 😉

Pick Your Flavors at Poqet Donuts

Last week, I got to check out Poqet Donuts the day before their official grand opening! It was one of the most fun previews! Foodies, sweets, and build-your-own donuts – how could you not love it?! They have a bunch of signature flavors including Avocado, S’mores, Maple Bacon, Tiramisu, Lemon Meringue and a couple of flavorful vegan options. I’m not usually a Tiramisu fan, but that was definitely a favorite! Then, the best part was revealed! They have a build-your-own donut bar. You have the choice of two donuts, one more dense and the other classic and fluffy, then you choose your glaze, toppings, and any other flavor madness you could think of.
